Independent Inventors Program
The Maine Independent Inventors program is for young Inventors who want to participate in the Maine Invention Convention but do not have access to the curriculum through a school or other program. Those interested in participating can download the curriculum from the educators tab on our website. There will be a virtual competition for Independent Inventors in the first week of February. Participants will need to submit a recording of their pitch for their invention, upload their lab journal, and provide images of their invention and tri fold display. The cut off for registration is January 27th. Inventors will receive an email the week after the independent inventor competition letting them know if they’ve been chosen to move on to the state competition.
