Maine Invention Convention

About Maine
Invention Convention

The Maine Invention Convention  provides educators with a free and flexible curriculum through the Henry Ford Museum that guides K-12th grade students through the invention process. All lesson plans are aligned to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core. Activities teach creativity, design-thinking, and engineering skills that students use to create an original invention that addresses their chosen problem. The skills learned through the invention process are lifelong skills that students will be able to carry with them throughout their lives and into their future careers.
